Sand castles

You can build a sand castle by the shores and make it as strong as you can with both your hands, you can dig holes all around it to make sure the waters don't bring it down. But if you take your eyes off it for even a minute? it will all come crashing down and no matter how hard you try it'll always look and feel different when you try to build it again.

Sometimes, love can feel so much like this, you can try as hard as you can to strengthen the relationship. But at times it's not enough and it comes crashing down when you least expect it, Then. No matter how hard you try, there's simply no rebuilding it. You can't have something again once it's gone, but you can try and make the best of what you now have.
