A kiss on the forehead..shows you my wish to comfort you when affection isn't what you need..a hug shows you that i am not going anywhere no matter how many reasons you give me to leave..holding your hand in mine shows that i will share the pain you are going through..i won't utter a word..all i want to hear is you..even in silence i know you have so much to say..i will listen and take it all to heart..never mind all those around us..they don't understand..they don't see..how your heart is falling apart..i will hold all the pieces for you..together we will get through it and when you are ready..we will mend all the pieces back together..you don't need to thank me for being there...i should be the one to thank you for showing me what it is to be human and to be real..in a world where everyone wears so many masks..
